Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a range of movements, with notable gains across several stocks. KEPCO EandC saw its share price rise to 172,800, marking an increase of 14,700. Meanwhile, LandF faced a decline, with its price dropping by 900 to 184,100.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the market witnessed significant upward trends in various sectors. HYUNDAIDEPTST's stock increased by 4,300, reaching a new price of 79,000. Similarly, HANWHA LIFE's shares rose by 420, closing at 4,820. In the consumer goods sector, AMOREPACIFIC reported an increase of 2,600, with its stock reaching 130,300. Hanwha Engine also experienced a rise, closing at 46,600 after an increase of 2,450.

In the logistics and transportation sector, HYUNDAIGLOVIS saw a considerable gain, closing at 220,500 with an increase of 12,500. HANAFINANCIALGR reported a rise of 5,900, bringing its stock price to 117,100. KOLMAR KOREA's shares increased by 2,100, settling at 76,800. DoubleUGames witnessed a gain of 1,000, closing at 48,900.

The automotive and technology sectors also saw positive movements. HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY's shares rose by 8,200, closing at 61,500. HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC experienced a significant increase, with its stock rising by 89,000 to close at 980,000. COSMAX saw its shares increase by 5,300, bringing the price to 185,400.

DOOSAN led the gains with a substantial increase of 155,000, closing at 1,204,000. S-1 and HL MANDO also saw increases, with their stocks closing at 89,600 and 50,900, respectively. CHONGKUNDANG's shares rose by 1,900, reaching 88,100, while SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS reported an increase of 12,000, closing at 1,598,000.

Kakaopay's stock saw a rise of 3,450, closing at 52,500. ECOPRO MAT and HDHMS experienced gains of 3,500 and 4,800, closing at 76,600 and 176,800, respectively. SK ie technology's stock increased by 300, closing at 22,350, while POSCO FUTURE M saw an increase of 8,500, closing at 217,500.

In the chemical sector, LOTTE Fine Chem's shares rose by 2,100, reaching 50,600. HYUNDAI STEEL reported an increase of 3,400, closing at 37,850. Shinsegae's stock saw a rise of 19,000, closing at 330,000, while Nongshim reported a gain of 6,000, closing at 371,500.

SGBC, Doosan Robotics, and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL also reported gains, with their stocks closing at 61,100, 88,700, and 99,300, respectively. HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED's shares rose by 7,000, closing at 212,500. HANILCMT and SKBS both saw increases, with their stocks closing at 17,140 and 41,750, respectively.

HyundaiAutoever experienced a significant rise, with its stock increasing by 45,500 to close at 415,500. KakaoBank's shares rose by 1,200, closing at 24,850. HYBE saw a gain of 4,500, closing at 260,500. FOOSUNG, however, saw a decline, with its stock price dropping by 160 to close at 9,710. DWEC and DL EandC reported gains, with their stocks closing at 22,550 and 95,200, respectively. HITEJINRO's shares saw a slight increase, closing at 16,850 with a gain of 80.
