Similarly, SamsungElec reported a decline of 22,000, closing at 296,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other major companies also experienced downturns. HD Hyundai Marine Engine closed at 60,600, marking a decrease of 2,600. POSCO Holdings witnessed a fall of 6,000, closing at 315,500. Meanwhile, LS saw a considerable decline, closing down by 12,000 at 341,000. In contrast, some companies managed to secure gains, with LotteChilsung increasing by 1,000 to close at 101,600, and MIWON SC closing up by 3,500 at 107,100.

The day also saw notable performances from Samsung SDS, which rose by 11,700 to 205,000, and YoungoneHoldings, which increased by 8,100 to close at 190,000. On the downside, heavyweights like LG Energy Solution experienced a drop of 22,500, closing at 332,000, and HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES observed a substantial decline of 31,000, settling at 552,000.

Several other companies showed mixed results, with increases seen in GC Biopharma Corp., up by 2,500 to 125,000, and DongwonInd, which climbed by 1,350 to 35,400. Conversely, declines were noted in stocks such as ISUPETASYS, which fell by 3,300 to 98,000, and SKC, which saw a decrease of 4,000, closing at 97,000.

Overall, the trading session reflected a combination of gains and losses across different sectors, highlighting the fluctuating nature of the market.
