Seoul: The recent closing prices of the KOSPI 200 index have shown varied movements across several major companies. Notably, SK's stock price surged by 26,000 to reach 381,500, while Hanon Systems experienced a decline, dropping 325 to end at 4,945. SKTelecom also saw a decrease of 700, closing at 80,800. In contrast, Hyundai Elevator's stock increased by 2,300 to 110,200.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant movements included SAMSUNG CARD, which climbed 3,600 to 67,400, and CheilWorldwide, which saw a modest rise of 400 to 22,450. LOTTE WELLFOOD also performed well, with its stock price increasing by 4,700 to 134,700. KT and LG Uplus experienced gains of 3,000 and 240, respectively.

SAMSUNG LIFE saw a significant rise, closing at 219,000 with an increase of 10,000. Doosan Enerbility's stock gained 5,100, ending at 103,500. Meanwhile, KT and G increased by 2,000 to 177,100, and PARADISE and Kangwonland saw gains of 250 and 290, respectively. NAVER and Kakao also saw their prices rise, closing at 254,500 and 57,900.

Further, KIWOOM's stock increased notably by 8,000 to 495,500, and ShinhanGroup's price rose 1,700 to 102,000. Hanwha Ocean and HANAFINANCIALGR experienced gains as well, with increases of 9,300 and 5,000. However, HANMISemi saw a drop of 1,000, closing at 200,500, and DWEC fell by 130 to 7,800.

LG H and H decreased by 5,500 to 273,000, while AMOREPACIFIC's stock dropped 5,400 to 156,000. Misto Holdings and CHONGKUNDANG also saw declines, with decreases of 1,100 and 1,300, respectively. On the positive side, LGCHEM rose by 2,500 to 337,000, and NCsoft gained 5,000, closing at 232,000.

LIG Nex1 experienced a substantial increase, ending at 486,500 with a rise of 23,500. HYUNDAIGLOVIS gained 7,500 to reach 270,000, and GS's stock increased by 2,500 to 75,700. SK Innovation saw a rise of 9,000, closing at 127,600, while POONGSAN and KBFinancialGroup also increased, ending at 115,300 and 168,800, respectively.

Lastly, KEPCO KPS saw an increase of 800 to 62,800, and BNK Financial Group's stock rose by 500 to 22,650. HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY experienced a gain of 1,300, closing at 75,600. Meanwhile, FOOSUNG and emart saw declines, with decreases of 80 and 800, respectively.
