Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a mixed movement with several stocks experiencing notable increases while others saw declines. HD Hyundai Mipo closed at 129,100, marking an increase of 1,200. S-1 also saw an uptick, closing at 59,000, up by 1,000. Kumho Petrochem ended at 94,600, climbing 1,500, while S-Oil remained stable at 58,400.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Youngone Holdings increased by 200, closing at 81,000, and LG Innotek saw a significant rise of 8,500 to finish at 168,800. Lotte Chemical Corp experienced an increase of 200, closing at 60,100. HMM rose by 530, closing at 18,900, and Hyundai Wia ended at 39,400, up by 100. Mobis, however, saw a decline, closing at 244,500, down by 2,000.
Hanwha Aerospace climbed 4,000 to close at 366,000, while Hanchem closed at 103,300, up by 800. DWS saw a rise of 300, ending at 41,400, whereas KEPCO experienced a slight decline, closing at 19,980, down by 20. Coway fell by 1,300, closing at 64,100, and Samsung Securities dropped 100 to close at 42,850.
Posco DX rose by 350, closing at 20,550, while SKTelecom declined by 1,100, finishing at 55,600. Samsung SDS increased by 1,200, closing at 129,200, and Korea Aerospace saw a decline of 400, ending at 55,600. Kumho Tire increased slightly by 20, closing at 4,810, and Hanon Systems rose by 100 to finish at 4,125.
SK climbed 5,900, closing at 140,900, while Hyundai Elevator experienced a decline of 1,700, ending at 49,100. Lotte Shopping increased by 600, closing at 53,800, and OCI Holdings saw a notable rise of 7,800, finishing at 73,000. Dongsuh fell by 300, closing at 26,450, and IBK increased by 100, closing at 14,450.
Samsung Engineering and Architecture rose by 280, closing at 17,180, and Samsung C and T increased by 3,400, closing at 119,000. PanOcean saw a slight rise of 50, ending at 3,450, and Samsung Card increased by 400, closing at 38,800. Cheil Worldwide declined by 100, closing at 17,030, and Lotte Wellfood rose by 1,000, closing at 110,500.
KT fell by 300, ending at 44,200, while Hanatour Service increased by 300, closing at 55,700. Cosmax declined by 1,500, finishing at 143,400, and LG Uplus fell by 110, closing at 10,340. Samsung Life saw a decline of 600, ending at 92,600, and KT and G fell by 1,100, closing at 104,600.
