KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements as Samsung SDI and Hanwha Aerospace Decline

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed movements with notable declines and gains across various sectors. Among the significant changes, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. saw its stock price fall by 100 to close at 169,200, while Hanwha Aerospace faced a significant drop of 27,000, ending the day at 927,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies reported increases in their stock prices. KPIC rose by 500 to 82,800, and Samsung Electronics Mechanical gained 2,300 to reach 133,000. Meanwhile, Hyosung Heavy experienced a substantial increase of 38,000, closing at 804,000.

In contrast, SKC's stock declined by 1,400 to settle at 103,000, and OTOKI saw a decrease of 1,000, closing at 390,500. Other notable declines included YoulchonChem, which fell by 1,050 to 30,350, and Hanwha Solutions, which dropped by 1,100 to 32,050.

On the upside, GS Retail experienced a rise of 170, ending at 16,440, while Hyundai WIA increased by 200 to close at 46,150. S-Oil also saw a gain of 1,100, reaching 62,300 by the end of trading.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 reflected varied performances among companies, with some experiencing growth while others faced declines in their stock values.
