Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mix of gains and losses in its latest session, reflecting varied performances across different sectors. Key players such as HanmiPharm and Kolon Industries saw their stock prices rise, contributing to the overall market activity.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HanmiPharm's stock price increased by 7,000, reaching 430,000, while Kolon Industries saw a rise of 1,600, closing at 59,100. Notable gains were also observed in SD Biosensor, which went up by 70 to close at 6,620, and Meritz Financial, which rose by 2,000 to settle at 114,400. Other companies like DoubleUGames and COSMAX also reported increases, with their prices rising by 1,500 and 5,000, respectively.
On the other hand, several stocks experienced declines. BNK Financial Group's stock price fell by 140, closing at 18,470, and emart saw a decrease of 400, ending the session at 84,700. HD Hyundai Electric faced a significant drop, with its stock price going down by 30,000 to close at 899,000. Samsung ElecMech also saw a major decline, falling by 180,000 to settle at 1,648,000.
In contrast, APR recorded a substantial gain, with its stock price climbing by 31,500 to reach 410,000. KRAFTON and Orion both experienced increases, closing at 245,000 and 139,500, respectively. Despite the mixed outcomes, the KOSPI 200 index continues to demonstrate the dynamic nature of the financial market.
