Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a day of mixed outcomes as numerous companies experienced fluctuations in their stock prices. The index saw both upward and downward movements across various sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Securities increased by 900, closing at 68,700. Meanwhile, SK Telecom rose by 200 to settle at 56,100. Hyundai Elevator saw a significant rise of 2,300, reaching a closing price of 86,700. In contrast, Hankuk Carbon decreased by 150, ending the day at 31,450.

Cheil Worldwide experienced a slight decrease of 50, closing at 19,900. LOTTE WELLFOOD faced a notable decline of 1,100, finishing at 116,500. Similarly, SK dropped by 4,100 to close at 187,200, and Doosan Enerbility decreased by 3,900, closing at 65,500.

The report noted that Hanon Systems increased by 85, closing at 3,530. KT rose by 900, reaching 55,000, while IBK saw an increase of 220, ending at 19,490. Other notable increases included Samsung E and A, which went up by 350 to close at 27,500, and LG Uplus, which increased by 140 to end at 14,920.

On the other hand, LOTTE SHOPPING saw a decline of 700, closing at 67,100, and COWAY decreased by 500 to finish at 106,900. KEPCO E and C faced a significant drop of 5,100, closing at 94,600. Other declines included Samsung C and T, which went down by 2,400 to end at 160,300, and Hanwha Ocean, which decreased by 3,000, closing at 104,000.

In the tech sector, NAVER and NCsoft both closed at 223,000, with NCsoft experiencing a substantial increase of 20,500. Kakao, however, saw a decline of 500, ending at 63,700.

Investors observed mixed reactions as CJ CheilJedang rose by 1,000 to close at 251,000, while Samyang Food saw a significant drop of 53,000, closing at 1,449,000. Shinhan Group increased by 600, ending at 70,000, whereas KEPCO KPS decreased by 1,000, closing at 52,700.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 index displayed a variety of trends as companies experienced dynamic price shifts throughout the trading day.
