Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mix of gains and losses as trading closed, highlighting varied performance across key stocks. Notably, GS registered an increase of 600 points, closing at 48,950, while KDHC saw a decrease of 2,500 points, ending at 93,600.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Misto Holdings experienced a rise of 1,200 points, settling at 38,750. On the other hand, LIG Nex1 observed a decline of 10,000 points, closing at 523,000. HL MANDO and DENTIUM also faced drops, closing at 37,350 and 56,500, respectively.
CHONGKUNDANG saw an upward movement, gaining 1,100 points to close at 84,500. Meanwhile, HANJINKAL and DoubleUGames recorded modest gains, ending at 103,200 and 50,300, respectively. In contrast, KIH and HD Hyundai experienced significant declines, with KIH dropping 9,000 points to 173,100 and HD Hyundai falling 8,500 points to 210,500.
Other notable changes included APR, which rose by 3,500 points to close at 276,000, and Orion, which gained 2,100 points to finish at 101,900. However, SK hynix saw a substantial decrease of 34,000 points, closing at 586,000, while HD Hyundai Electric fell 31,000 points to 918,000.
