Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index demonstrated varied movements as several companies experienced gains while others faced declines. Notable changes were seen in the closing prices of major companies, highlighting a fluctuating market landscape.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SKTelecom maintained its position at 53,500 without any change. Hyundai Elevator, however, saw an increase, closing at 87,700, up by 900. Meanwhile, HankukCarbon faced a decline, dropping by 550 to reach 26,750. Hanon Systems also decreased by 140, closing at 3,625. SK experienced a significant drop, with a decrease of 12,500, bringing its closing price to 253,000.

SAMSUNG SDS ended the day on a positive note, increasing by 1,200 to reach 169,700. KUMHOTIRE fell by 190, closing at 5,670, while KOREA AEROSPACE saw a decline of 1,900, finishing at 107,000. On the upside, COWAY increased by 200, closing at 86,200.

NAVER faced a decrease of 1,000, closing at 243,000. CheilWorldwide saw a gain of 150, ending at 22,800. LOTTE WELLFOOD experienced a decline of 1,300, closing at 119,600. Doosan Enerbility also dropped by 1,500, finishing at 74,900.

KT and G decreased by 2,000, closing at 143,500, while KT remained unchanged at 50,400. LG Display saw a decline of 210, ending at 12,330. SAMSUNG LIFE increased by 900, closing at 153,800, and Kangwonland saw a minor gain of 70, closing at 18,060.

SAMSUNG CARD dropped by 200, ending at 54,700. LG Uplus gained 180, closing at 15,240. HYUNDAI ROTEM faced a significant decline of 5,300, ending at 170,400. L and F increased by 2,900, reaching 128,100.

KDHC saw a decline of 2,300, closing at 105,600. TKG Huchems decreased by 60, ending at 18,580. JB Financial Group gained 150, closing at 24,250. Celltrion increased by 200, ending at 185,800. DAEWOONG PHARM observed a rise of 5,700, closing at 182,000.

LGELECTRONICS saw a decline of 200, ending at 85,400. KIH decreased by 1,100, closing at 159,300. FOOSUNG fell by 90, ending at 8,290. POONGSAN decreased by 1,900, closing at 97,300. CJ CheilJedang increased by 1,000, ending at 210,500.

POSCO INTERNATIONAL faced a decline of 300, closing at 53,300. SamyangFood saw a significant decrease of 99,000, ending at 1,346,000. SK Innovation dropped by 400, closing at 114,600. KBFinancialGroup gained 1,500, closing at 126,300.

Lastly, emart observed an increase of 1,700, ending at 79,900. DENTIUM saw a decline of 1,000, closing at 51,200, while KOLMAR KOREA decreased by 1,300, ending at 65,400. HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY faced a decline of 1,400, closing at 60,100.
