Seoul: The latest closing prices for the KOSPI 200 index revealed a mixed performance among several key stocks. Notable movements include changes in companies such as Netmarble, HD Hyundai, and Samsung C and T, among others.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Netmarble experienced a slight increase, closing at 51,700, up by 100 points. Meanwhile, HD Hyundai saw a significant rise of 2,000 points, ending at 202,500. Among the top gainers, Samsung C and T closed at 228,500, marking an increase of 10,500 points.
Conversely, some companies faced declines. LIG Nex1 dropped by 9,500 points, closing at 384,500, and Samsung Biologics fell significantly by 162,000 points, ending at 1,627,000. Other notable declines include Doosan, which decreased by 24,000 points to 830,000, and HDHMS, down by 19,700 points to 187,800.
Stable performances were observed for KRAFTON and HL MANDO, which showed no change, maintaining their closing prices at 255,000 and 41,400, respectively. CheilWorldwide also remained unchanged at 22,500.
Overall, the KOSPI 200 index experienced both gains and losses across various sectors, reflecting a dynamic trading session influenced by multiple factors affecting individual stock performances.
