Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mix of gains and losses in the latest trading session. Among the notable performers was LIG Nex1, which saw a significant rise of 10,500 to close at 460,500. Hyundai Rotem also marked an increase, climbing by 7,000 to reach 241,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced declines. Celltrion recorded a decrease, with its stock falling by 5,700 to 172,600. KIH also faced a notable drop, declining 5,700 to settle at 168,200. Samsung Electronics was among the companies that saw a reduction, with its stock decreasing by 2,100 to close at 96,500.
Other companies experiencing gains included DB Insurance, which rose by 800 to 132,600, and CSWIND, which increased by 500 to 43,250. POSCO Holdings also saw an uptick, with its stock climbing by 500 to 308,000.
On the downside, Hyundai Elevator's shares fell by 1,200 to end at 83,200, and SK Telecom saw a decline of 400, closing at 54,200. Overall, the trading session reflected varied performances across different sectors.
