Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a day of mixed trading as several companies experienced notable fluctuations in their stock prices. Among the companies with increased closing prices, MiwonComcl rose by 1,300 to reach 172,500, while Daewoong saw an increase of 450, closing at 21,550. KAL and LG Corp. also recorded rises, with KAL up by 300, closing at 23,900, and LG Corp. falling by 3,100 to close at 69,700.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies that experienced upward movements included POSCO FUTURE M, which rose by 2,200 to 130,100, and LOTTE Fine Chem, up 700 to 40,400. Shinsegae and CosmoAM and T also saw increases, closing at 131,200 and 50,300, respectively. Meanwhile, Nongshim and SGBC experienced declines of 2,500 and 3,400, closing at 350,000 and 81,700, respectively.

Furthermore, POSCO Holdings decreased by 2,000 to 237,000, while SamsungElec saw a rise of 1,900, closing at 55,600. GC Corp also experienced a significant rise, increasing by 3,100 to 138,300. SAMSUNG SDI CO., LTD. closed at 211,000, up by 1,500. A significant increase was witnessed by ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL, which went up by 8,150 to 41,700.

Additional movements in the market included KPIC, which increased by 4,200 to 97,900, and CJ LOGISTICS, which rose by 2,300 to 84,100. However, OCI experienced a decline of 6,100, closing at 62,200, and KIA CORP. fell by 1,900 to 94,600. DOOSAN marked a notable rise, increasing by 15,000 to close at 298,500.
