KOSPI 200 Closing Price List Shows Predominant Gains Across Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected significant upward momentum as numerous stocks closed at higher prices. Major companies such as Samsung, LG, and Hyundai demonstrated notable gains, indicating a positive trend in the market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. saw a notable increase, closing at 374,500, up by 18,500. Samsung Electronics Mechanics also experienced a substantial rise, closing at 307,500 with an increase of 24,500. LG Energy Solution reported a closing price of 391,000, marking an increase of 11,000, while LG Innotek closed at 244,500, up by 6,500.

Hyundai affiliates reported varied performances. Hyundai Heavy Industries marked a significant rise, closing at 582,000, up by 33,000, and Hyundai Marine Engine noted an increase, reaching 87,100, up 3,100. Hyundai Wia closed at 84,800 with an increase of 2,900. Meanwhile, Hyundai Department Store saw a rise of 5,300, closing at 98,000.

Other substantial gainers included Hanwha Aerospace, which saw a climb of 60,000, closing at 1,299,000, and Hyosung Heavy, which increased by 86,000, ending at 2,367,000. LIG Nex1 closed at 463,500, marking an increase of 9,500.

The trading session also witnessed gains for GS, with an increase of 3,700, closing at 68,100, and GS E and C, which rose by 900 to close at 19,200. Mirae Asset Securities experienced a significant spike, closing at 49,950, up by 9,900.

A few stocks experienced a downturn, such as L and F, which decreased by 4,800 to close at 118,500, and KPIC, which dropped by 1,600 to end at 146,200. However, the overall sentiment remained positive with most stocks on the KOSPI 200 closing higher, reflecting optimistic investor sentiment in the market.
