KOSPI 200 Closes with Mixed Results as Several Stocks See Gains

Seoul: Thursday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw a mix of gains and losses among KOSPI 200 stocks, with several companies experiencing significant changes in their closing prices.

According to Yonhap News Agency, notable increases were observed in stocks such as Hankook and Company, which rose by 1,750 KRW to close at 23,650 KRW. Miwon SC also saw an increase, closing at 151,300 KRW, up by 5,800 KRW. Additionally, KCC experienced a substantial rise, closing at 367,000 KRW with an increase of 11,000 KRW.

On the other hand, some stocks faced declines. Samsung F and M Insurance dropped by 7,500 KRW to close at 471,000 KRW, while Hyundai Motor experienced a decrease of 1,500 KRW, closing at 208,000 KRW. Hyundai Engineering and Construction also saw a drop, closing at 72,600 KRW, down by 1,200 KRW.

Other companies reported gains, including KakaoBank increasing by 1,750 KRW to 32,000 KRW, and SKBP rising by 5,200 KRW to 99,000 KRW. Additionally, Samyang Food marked a significant increase, closing at 1,498,000 KRW with a rise of 19,000 KRW.

The trading session highlighted mixed performances among KOSPI 200 stocks, reflecting varied market conditions and investor responses.
