KOSPI 200 Closes with Mixed Performances Among Major Companies

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a day of mixed performances as several major companies experienced fluctuations in their closing prices. Companies with rising share prices included LIG Nex1, which increased by 8,500 to close at 460,000, and HanjinKAL, which saw a significant rise of 14,600 to close at 155,000. Other companies, such as Hyundai M and F INS and Poongsan, also experienced increases, closing at 26,200 and 87,600, up by 1,050 and 3,400, respectively.

According to Yonhap News Agency, some companies faced declines. CJ saw a decrease of 6,000, closing at 150,800, while SK hynix dropped by 4,500 to end at 235,500. Amorepacific also experienced a decrease, closing at 135,600, down by 4,100. Other companies that saw a drop in their prices included GS, Misto Holdings, and CJ LOGISTICS, with declines of 300, 1,100, and 1,600, respectively.

Financial groups displayed mixed results, with BNK Financial Group rising by 110 to close at 11,820, while Meritz Financial and Hana Financial Group both experienced decreases, closing at 112,200 and 77,200, down by 600 each. The trading session highlighted the diverse movements within various sectors, reflecting differing investor sentiments across the market.
