KORIBOR Rates Show Stability with Slight Increases Across Longer Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) demonstrated stability in the shorter-term rates and slight increases in the longer-term rates, according to the latest figures released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 1-month KORIBOR rates remained unchanged at 2.50% and 2.60%, respectively, compared to the previous session. The 2-month rate saw a small rise from 2.70% to 2.71%, and the 3-month rate increased slightly from 2.81% to 2.82%.

The 6-month and 12-month terms experienced marginal increases as well, with the 6-month rate moving from 2.86% to 2.87%, and the 12-month rate rising from 3.05% to 3.07%. These figures indicate minor upward adjustments in the longer-term borrowing costs in the interbank market.
