Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) demonstrated a minor decline across several terms in the latest data released. The rates, reflecting the cost of borrowing in local currency between banks, were updated by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR for the 1-week term remained stable at 2.50%, showing no change from the previous session. The 1-month rate experienced a slight decrease from 2.61% to 2.60%. Similarly, the 2-month rate dropped marginally to 2.68% from 2.70%, while the 3-month rate decreased to 2.75% from 2.78%.
The 6-month and 12-month rates also saw slight reductions, with the 6-month rate declining to 2.77% from 2.80% and the 12-month rate falling to 2.77% from 2.79%. These minor shifts in KORIBOR rates suggest subtle changes in the interbank lending environment.
