Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) showed stability in shorter-term rates while experiencing slight increases in longer-term rates as reported today. This information was released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 1-month KORIBOR rates remained unchanged at 2.75% and 2.85%, respectively, reflecting stability in the short-term lending market. However, the 2-month rate experienced a slight increase from 2.94% to 2.95%.
The 3-month rate saw a marginal rise from 3.04% to 3.05%, while the 6-month rate increased from 3.31% to 3.33%. The 12-month rate also climbed slightly from 3.67% to 3.68%. These increases in the longer-term rates suggest a minor upward trend in the cost of borrowing over extended periods.
