Korean Dessert Cafe Chain Sulbing to Enter Philippine Market This Year

Manila: Sulbing Co., a South Korean dessert cafe chain, announced plans to enter the Philippine market as part of its overseas expansion strategy. The company aims to open its first two outlets in Manila later this year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Sulbing has entered into a master franchise agreement with Beyond Bingsu Cafe Inc., an affiliate of the Philippines' Fredley Group of Companies. This agreement not only allows Beyond Bingsu Cafe Inc. to open and operate Sulbing outlets in the designated region but also grants them the rights to sub-franchise to third parties.

Sulbing currently operates 587 domestic outlets and has expanded internationally with 12 stores in countries including the United States, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, and Cambodia.
