Korean Air to temporarily run flights to Asahikawa
SEOUL, Korean Air Lines Co. said Tuesday it will temporarily offer flight services on the Incheon-Asahikawa route for five months starting in June in a move to determine market demand.
The national flag carrier plans to provide five flights per week on the route to Asahikawa in Hokkaido from June 1 through Oct. 21, the company said in a statement.
"If travel demand to the Japanese city turns out to be strong for the five-month period, the company may add the route as a regularly scheduled one," a company spokesman said.
