Korea Interbank Offered Rates Show Slight Fluctuation in 3-Month Term

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) were released today by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. The data reflects slight changes in the interest rates for various loan terms, most notably in the 3-month rate.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week, 1-month, and 2-month KORIBOR remained stable at 2.50%, 2.61%, and 2.72%, respectively, showing no change from the previous session. The 3-month rate experienced a minor decrease, slipping from 2.84% to 2.83%. Rates for the 6-month term held steady at 2.92%, while the 12-month term saw a slight increase from 3.19% to 3.20%.

The KORIBOR rates are critical for financial institutions in determining lending rates and assessing market conditions. The stability observed in most terms suggests a steady economic environment, with the minor fluctuations indicating adjustments in the financial market's expectations.
