SEOUL: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have shown mixed movements as released by Yonhap Infomax at 11:00 a.m. today. These rates are critical indicators for financial transactions and reflect the cost of borrowing funds in the interbank market. According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR rate has decreased from 3.25% to 3.05%, indicating a reduction in short-term borrowing costs. The 1-month rate has also declined, moving from 3.31% to 3.22%. The 2-month rate saw a slight decrease from 3.35% to 3.31%. Meanwhile, the 3-month rate remained stable at 3.41%, unchanged from the previous session. Further stability is observed in the 6-month KORIBOR rate, which saw a marginal decrease from 3.42% to 3.41%. The 12-month rate remained unchanged at 3.23%, showing no variation from the previous session. These rates are essential for banks and financial institutions in determining the cost of lending and borrowing over various terms.
