Korea Eximbank donate vehicles to 12 multicultural family support organizations nationwide

? The Export-Import Bank of Korea (www.koreaexim.go.kr, Chairman Bang Moon-kyu, hereinafter referred to as “Korea Eximbank”) announced on the 28th that it has sponsored 12 vehicles (worth 300 million won) to 12 multicultural family support organizations nationwide through the Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as “CCK”).

? On the afternoon of the 28th, Chairman Bang Moon-kyu delivered five vans and seven light cars to Jeong Jong-woon, CEO of the Guro-gu Multicultural Family Support Center, who attended on behalf of each institution, along with Kim Sang-kyun, Secretary-General of CCK.

? Previously, CCK was selected after a public offering to multicultural family support institutions nationwide that are experiencing inconvenience in movement.

? After delivering the vehicle, Chairman Bang said, “Korea Eximbank, an external economic cooperation agency, is steadily supporting the settlement of members of the new society, including multicultural families,” adding, “We hope that more multicultural families will receive welfare benefits.”

? Kore Eximbank has donated vehicles worth 1.91 billion won to 99 institutions nationwide since 2011, including the sponsorship.

? Meanwhile, the Export-Import Bank of Korea, which operates the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF), is paying a lot of attention and effort to support multicultural families in Korea.

* Economic Development Cooperation Fund: EDCF : Korea Eximbank is commissioned by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance to operate and manage the economic aid fund for developing countries established by the Korean government in 1987. It provides long-term low-interest loan funds to support industrial development and economic stability in developing countries, and promotes economic exchanges with Korea.
