Kolmar Korea Q2 Net Income Surges by 68.9% to 70.6 Billion Won

Seoul: Kolmar Korea Co. on Wednesday reported its second-quarter net profit of 70.6 billion won (US$49.9 million), marking a 68.9 percent increase from the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the April-June period reached 110.3 billion won, reflecting a 50.2 percent rise compared to the same period last year. Additionally, sales saw an increase of 17.8 percent, totaling 861.3 billion won.

These earnings surpassed market expectations, with the average net profit estimate by analysts being 53.2 billion won, as per a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
