Delhi: The chief of the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) is set to attend a general meeting of the International Council of Securities Associations (ICSA) in India this week. The association announced on Monday that Whang Song-youp, the chairman of KOFIA, will participate in the two-day event in Delhi, which commenced on Monday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Whang Song-youp aims to promote the local capital market and establish cooperation with global institutional investors. The ICSA serves as a global organization representing securities industry associations and firms from across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with a membership comprising 20 financial institutions from 18 countries.
