Seoul: North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could potentially meet with U.S. President Donald Trump during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders' summit later this month, as suggested by the unification minister.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Minister Chung Dong-young mentioned the possibility during a parliamentary audit session. The meeting could take place at the border village of Panmunjom, a location historically significant for diplomatic engagements. The suggestion came in response to a question posed by Rep. Yoon Hu-duk of the ruling Democratic Party, indicating the potential for renewed dialogue between the two leaders.
