Kia Launches Global Campaign for FIFA World Cup 2026

Seoul: Kia Corp., South Korea's second-largest carmaker, announced the launch of a global promotional campaign for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026. Under the theme "Inspiration Connects Us All," the campaign emphasizes Kia's commitment to fostering unity among its customers and people worldwide during the international sporting event.

According to Yonhap News Agency, one of the central features of the campaign is the Kia Official Match Ball Carrier (OMBC) program. This initiative involves selecting 104 children, aged 10 to 14, from various countries to deliver the official match ball to referees before each game. Additionally, Kia has released three teaser videos featuring global ambassador Thierry Henry to promote the OMBC program.

Kia plans to offer 17 display themes related to the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the lead-up to the tournament. These themes aim to provide Kia owners with an immersive football event experience while driving. As an official sponsor of FIFA since 2007, Kia will continue to provide transportation, autonomous driving technologies, and future mobility services at FIFA's events until 2030.

The FIFA World Cup 2026, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19 next year.
