KG Mobility’s June Sales Rise by 1.4% Due to Increased Overseas Demand

Seoul: KG Mobility Corp. reported a 1.4 percent increase in its monthly sales for June, driven primarily by a surge in overseas demand. The South Korean automaker sold 9,231 vehicles in June, compared to 9,100 units during the same month last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, exports experienced a significant jump of 18 percent, reaching 6,200 units. However, domestic sales saw a decline of 26.1 percent, dropping to 3,031 units. In the first half of the year, from January to June, the company's cumulative sales decreased by 5.8 percent, totaling 53,272 units, down from 56,565 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.

KG Mobility, which specializes in sport utility vehicles, currently offers eight models, including the Actyon, Tivoli, Korando, Rexton, Torres, the all-electric Torres EVX SUV, Musso Sports pickup, and Musso EV pickup. A company official noted that the upcoming release of the Actyon Hybrid is generating substantial interest in the domestic market, which is expected to boost domestic sales. The company aims to increase overall sales volume by launching new products overseas and employing differentiated marketing strategies to tap into global markets.
