KG Mobility’s April Sales Climb 6.5% on Export Surge

Seoul: KG Mobility Corp. reported a 6.5 percent increase in sales for April compared to the previous year, fueled primarily by a rise in exports. The company announced that it sold a total of 9,512 vehicles last month, marking a notable improvement from the same period last year. This figure encompasses complete knock-down (CKD) units.

According to Yonhap News Agency, exports experienced a significant boost, growing by 13.8 percent year-on-year to reach 6,130 units. However, domestic sales saw a decline of 4.6 percent, with 3,382 units sold within the country.

The heightened demand for the Musso and Torres EVX sport utility vehicles (SUVs) played a pivotal role in the export growth. The company reported sales of 1,336 units for the Musso and 1,830 units for the Torres EVX, underscoring the strong international market presence of these models.
