Seoul: KEPCO Engineering and Construction Co., a subsidiary of the state-run utility firm Korea Electric Power Corp (KEPCO), announced a significant increase in its third-quarter net profit, which reached 11.3 billion won (US$7.7 million). This marks a 67.1 percent rise compared to the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the July-September quarter surged by 116.2 percent year-on-year, amounting to 12.3 billion won. Furthermore, KEPCO E and C reported an 8.2 percent increase in sales, reaching a total of 114.6 billion won for the period.
