Seoul: KCC on Wednesday reported its first-quarter net income of 217 billion won (US$148.8 million), a 392.5 percent increase from a year earlier.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the chemical and automotive company stated in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the January-March period decreased by 14.8 percent year-on-year to 88.1 billion won. Meanwhile, the company's revenue saw a 1.7 percent increase, reaching 1.62 trillion won.
