Seoul: Kakao Pay Corp., the online payment arm of Kakao Corp., on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net profit of 19.1 billion won (US$13.3 million), swinging from a loss of 27.5 billion won a year earlier.
According to Yonhap News Agency, operating income for the July-September period was 15.8 billion won, compared with a loss of 7.5 billion won a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 28 percent to 238.4 billion won.
