Hyundai’s Ioniq 9 Tops Major Electric SUV Comparison in Germany

Berlin: Hyundai Motor Co.'s Ioniq 9 electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) emerged as the leading model among global competitors in a comparison test by Germany's prominent automotive magazine, Auto Zeitung, the South Korean automaker announced.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Ioniq 9 outperformed rivals such as BMW's iX, Volvo's EX90, and the Polestar 3 in several categories, including body design, driving comfort, powertrain performance, dynamic driving capability, and environmental and cost efficiency. The vehicle received notable recognition for its spacious interior, which set it apart in terms of comfort and practicality.

The magazine also commended the Ioniq 9 for its interior flexibility, highlighting features such as power-adjustable second-row leg rests, electronically folding third-row seats, and its class-leading cargo capacity. A Hyundai Motor official expressed satisfaction with the recognition from the esteemed German publication and reiterated the company's commitment to providing a top-tier electrified driving experience.
