Hyundai Motor Unveils Global Vehicle-to-Everything Service

Seoul: Hyundai Motor Group announced plans to globally launch an integrated vehicle-to-everything (V2X) service, which will allow electric vehicles to act as mobile energy sources, providing electricity to homes, buildings, other vehicles, and even the power grid.

According to Yonhap News Agency, V2X technology transforms electric vehicles into "batteries on wheels," enabling them to store electricity and supply power as needed. Previously, Hyundai operated its V2X services separately in South Korea, the United States, and Europe. The new initiative will consolidate these services under a single platform called All Day Energy.

The rollout of this service will begin in Britain, with plans to expand into other markets sequentially. Hyundai Motor Group will facilitate this expansion through its vehicle apps, enhancing the accessibility and convenience of its V2X technology for users worldwide.
