Seoul: HD Hyundai Marine Engine announced a significant increase in its second-quarter net income, reaching 31.9 billion won (US$21.8 million), which marks a 92.5 percent rise from the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the marine diesel engine manufacturer also reported an operating income of 31.3 billion won for the April-June period, reflecting a 79.2 percent increase year-on-year. Additionally, the company's sales climbed 29.1 percent, totaling 128.1 billion won.
