Seoul: Hanwha Corp. on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net profit of 1.95 trillion won (US$1.3 billion), marking an astounding increase of 18,770.3 percent from a year earlier.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the October-December period rose significantly by 387.2 percent on-year, reaching 1.12 trillion won. Additionally, sales saw a substantial increase of 24.3 percent, totaling 17.99 trillion won.
