Hanon Systems Remains in Red in Q4

Seoul: Hanon Systems, a South Korean supplier of automotive thermal management solutions, on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 198.1 billion won (US$136.3 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. Operating profit for the October-December period was 91.2 billion, compared with a loss of 137.6 billion won a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 6.6 percent to 2.7 trillion won.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the latest financial results indicate that Hanon Systems continues to face challenges despite improvements in operating profit. The company's revenue growth of 6.6 percent to 2.7 trillion won suggests that there is an upward trend in sales, but the net loss highlights ongoing financial difficulties. Hanon Systems specializes in providing thermal management solutions for the automotive industry, and the reported figures reflect its current financial standing in the competitive market.
