Seoul: Hanmi Science Co. on Tuesday reported a second-quarter net income of 43.7 billion won (US$29.9 million), up 54.2 percent from a year earlier. The South Korean operating holding company highlighted this significant growth in its latest financial results.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanmi Science Co. revealed in a regulatory filing that it posted 59.1 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, showing a substantial increase from the 34.6 billion won recorded a year ago. Additionally, the company's sales rose 8.7 percent to 367.9 billion won, reflecting a robust performance in its pharmaceutical services sector.
