Seoul: ADOR, the entertainment agency behind K-pop group NewJeans, announced that members Haerin and Hyein will return to the company and resume their activities. This development follows a year of legal conflict between the members and the agency.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Seoul Central District Court recently ruled that the exclusive contract between NewJeans and ADOR remains valid. Following the court's decision, Haerin and Hyein expressed their intention to continue working with the agency. The management company stated that after discussions with their families, the two members decided to honor the court's verdict and the terms of their exclusive contract.

ADOR emphasized its commitment to supporting the future activities of Haerin and Hyein in the entertainment industry. The legal dispute began when NewJeans announced the termination of its contract with ADOR last November, citing a breakdown in trust due to the agency's alleged failure to meet its obligations. In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit, claiming that the group's attempt to embark on an independent career was a significant breach of their contract.
