Government Aims to Revitalize State-Owned Land for Young Entrepreneurs

Seoul: The government is set to revise regulations to enable young entrepreneurs to utilize idle state-owned land for their businesses, as stated by acting President Choi Sang-mok.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Choi announced this initiative during a meeting with young CEOs of venture firms and startups at a state-funded startup office in southern Seoul. This facility marks the first instance of transforming state-owned property into a dedicated space for young entrepreneurs.

Choi emphasized the government's commitment to revising regulations to encourage the use of idle state-owned properties, including commercial spaces and farmland, by the younger generation for startups and other economic activities. Additionally, the government intends to enhance educational and financial support for young entrepreneurs.
