Global Semiconductor Meeting Scheduled in Busan

Busan: A global meeting on the semiconductor industry is set to take place in South Korea this week, aiming to share industry trends and expertise. The industry ministry announced the event on Tuesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Government-Authorities Meeting on Semiconductors (GAMS) will be held in the southeastern city of Busan from Tuesday to Thursday. It will see participation from approximately 100 state and private sector representatives from South Korea, the United States, Japan, the European Union, and other regions. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources shared these details.

GAMS, which was established in 1999, convenes annually to allow industry leaders to tackle pressing issues in the global semiconductor market. The agenda for the meeting includes discussions on future market conditions, intellectual property rights, and regulations of member states that might impact business and trade.
