Cincinnati: Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants is finally showing signs of life after a dismal start to his season. Lee batted 2-for-4 in a 2-1 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Tuesday, marking his third multihit effort in his past four games.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee is still batting just .207 (12-for-58) for the season, but half of those dozen hits have come in the last four games. He was batting .143 through Wednesday before going on a 6-for-16 run. Despite the loss, Lee's recent performance indicates an improvement as he contributes to the Giants' lineup.
