Geumsan: Four individuals in their twenties were discovered in a state of cardiac arrest on Wednesday after they were believed to have been swept away by strong river torrents while swimming in Geumsan, located approximately 200 kilometers south of Seoul.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the group was swimming in the Geum River, in an area where swimming is prohibited. Authorities reported that the individuals were not equipped with life vests at the time of the incident. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the tragic event, emphasizing the dangers of swimming in restricted zones.
