Seoul: Former President Moon Jae-in's daughter is set to be referred to the prosecution this week for potential indictment on drunk driving charges, according to Seoul's police chief. Kim Bong-sik, commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, informed reporters that the legal review concerning Moon Da-hye, who is accused of causing a collision with a taxi in Seoul's Itaewon district earlier this month while driving under the influence, is nearing completion. According to Yonhap News Agency, her referral to the prosecution is anticipated to be finalized within the week. Authorities are contemplating charging Moon with dangerous driving resulting in injury. In addition to the drunk driving case, Moon is facing allegations related to an unregistered house-sharing business. She reportedly operated an Airbnb business for two years at a property under her name in western Jeju, allegedly violating the Public Health Control Act. The police are currently coordinating a questioning date with Moon regarding th is separate charge.
