Ex-First Lady Kim Keon Hee to Appear for Questioning After Arrest

Seoul: Ex-first lady Kim Keon Hee will be summoned to special counsel Min Joong-ki's office on Thursday for the first time since her arrest earlier this week.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the special counsel team announced in a press release Wednesday that Kim has been asked to appear at its office at the KT Gwanghwamun West building in central Seoul at 10 a.m. Thursday. The questioning will focus on various corruption allegations linked to Kim.

Kim was placed under formal arrest on charges related to a stock manipulation scheme, election meddling, and bribery. This development followed the court's decision to issue a pre-trial detention warrant for her late Tuesday.

She has reportedly expressed her intention to comply with the special counsel's summons, marking her first public appearance since the arrest.
