Eastar Jet Introduces Temporary Flights to Ordos to Cater to Summer Demand

Busan: Eastar Jet Co. announced on Friday its plan to temporarily commence passenger flights to Ordos, a city in China's Inner Mongolia region, in response to increasing travel demand during the summer season. This initiative by the South Korean budget airline aims to facilitate travelers seeking to explore the distinct landscape of Inner Mongolia.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Eastar Jet will operate two weekly flights from Busan, South Korea's largest port city, to Ordos until September 15. Ordos is recognized for its unique natural scenery, including expansive deserts, which attracts numerous tourists.

Currently, Eastar Jet manages seven international routes from Busan. Additionally, the airline is preparing to launch a new service to Phu Quoc in Vietnam from Busan on July 26, further expanding its international offerings.
