Doosan Co. on Friday reported its second-quarter net income of 216.3 billion won (US$156 million), up 24.2 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 336.7 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 512 billion won a year ago. Revenue fell 7.6 percent to 4.59 trillion won.
