Seoul: CJ ENM, South Korea's leading media and entertainment company, announced that it has signed a partnership with Amazon Prime Video to supply its original drama series through the global streaming platform. The strategic deal was signed on May 3 during the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) held in India.
According to Yonhap News Agency, under the terms of the deal, CJ ENM will provide a selection of its original drama series exclusively to Prime Video. This includes popular titles such as "Another Miss Oh," "Her Private Life," and "Mouse." This move marks a shift for CJ ENM, which has primarily distributed its content globally through Netflix until now.
The partnership with Prime Video is seen as a significant step for CJ ENM, as it will enable the company to introduce its distinctive Korean series to an even wider international audience, stated Seo Jang-ho, executive vice president of CJ ENM's content business division.
