China’s Top Political Adviser Wang Huning to Visit North Korea

Seoul: Wang Huning, China's top political adviser, is set to commence a three-day official visit to North Korea this week, as reported by the North's state media on Tuesday. Wang holds significant positions as a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of China's Communist Party and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Wang's visit has been described as an "official goodwill visit" and is scheduled from Wednesday through Friday. The visit comes at the invitation of the North Korean government and the Central Committee of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, as per the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). This visit underscores the continuing diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
