Seoul: Cheong Wa Dae on Monday launched an official homepage designed to promote two-way communication with the public, as President Lee Jae Myung marked his 300th day in office. The presidential office had been operating a temporary website using the domain from the previous administration of Yoon Suk Yeol, as Lee took office immediately after winning a snap election in June 2025 following Yoon's removal over his failed martial law bid in December 2024.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the new homepage introduces several features that allow citizens to propose policies, in line with Lee's emphasis on public participation and communication. One section allows citizens to upload photos taken with Lee, which are posted after verification by the presidential office. The site also includes sections where users can suggest policies and submit digital content, such as smartphone and smartwatch backgrounds they have designed.
Cheong Wa Dae said the homepage will highlight Lee's key achievements over the past 300 days while also serving as a platform to develop policies in collaboration with the public. It also features a menu that provides a list of information disclosed by government ministries, aimed at improving policy transparency and strengthening the public's right to know, it noted.
